Dear Michael, Thanks for keeping us informed. Most likely this wave will affect children and the young. There should already be hundreds of asymptomatic or mild cholera diarrheal cases.
On October the 10th we will have the debate "Should cholera vaccine be considered as one of the main tools to control the disease during outbreaks?"
at our University of South Florida Department of Global Health. The former MOH Haiti Immunization Program Director Dr. Jeannott Francois and I will be moderating the debate among public health physicians from India, Panama, USA, and Ecuador.

I will send you the poster. Best regards from Tampa Bay, Ricardo Ricardo Izurieta MD DrPH DTM&H Associate Professor Department of Global Health College of Public Health University of South Florida
